Some helpful hints when driving to the site:
- If you are driving from downtown Knoxville, before the intersection of Chapman Highway (441) and Maryville Highway (411), you will see an E-Z Stop Food Mart and Taco Bell. If you pass a Food City on your right, you've gone too far.
- Before the intersection of Maryville Highwayy (411) and Prospect
Road, you will see a historical landmark sign for McTeer House.
- At the intersection of Maryville Highway (411) and Prospect Road, there is a huge "Lookout Mountain Caverns" billboard.
