Some information about fellowships for graduate study

for applying for certain fellowships. The information is supplied as

Some prestigious fellowships

NSF graduate fellowships (deadline for full proposal October 30, 2014 for math,
physics, and chemistry. Deadlines in other fields may be slightly different)

NDSEG graduate fellowships (application process to begin in September,
check back in September for deadline)
NDSEG - National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship

in science, mathematics, and engineering (deadline November 30, 2014)
Mostly for members of groups presently underrepresented in physical science
professions including women and minorities.

Herz Foundation fellowship in applied mathemtaics
Deadline: October 31, 2014 2:59pm

Graduate Study abroad

Fulbright (deadline July 1, 2014) (Deadline for new applications is past.)

Graduate study in England.

Prestigious fellowships

Churchill (deadline October 5, 2014 as best I can tell, but
see the website) For one year of study at Cambridge

For study in Cambridge England (Deadline October 15)

Graduate study in Germany.

In many cases knowledge of German may not be a prerequisite.
Of course, if you are going to be in Germany for an extended
period of time, you will probably want to learn the language.

Berlin Mathematical School
(Juniors take note, it seems that the application period for the
academic year 2014-15 is already past.
Applications for studies at the BMS for the academic year 2015/16
will be accepted from 15 September 2014 until 1 May 2015.
For financial assistance the deadline is 15 December2014.)

Bonn International Graduate School in Mathematics
Deadline Dec. 15, 2014 for admission in April 2015 (summer term)
or October 2015 (winter term). It may be possible to apply until
May 15, 2015 to begin in the winter term.

DAAD For somewhat less than one year of study anywhere in Germany.
