The Center for Multi-Scale Modeling and Distributed Computing has been funded by an NSF KDI grant to develop spatial and temporal models for flow in porous media, to develop simulation tools for validating those models against existing field data, and to test those simulations against field experiments generating new data. However, CMSMDC members are interested in a wide range of problems that involve multiple scales in both modeling and computation, and in problems that require large computational resources best provided by distributed processor machines.
Upcoming Seminars:
Seminars are scheduled for 4:00 pm on Wednesdays in Physics 120, with possible exceptions for out-of-town speakers. Refreshments are served before the seminars at 3:30 pm in Physics 135.
