Asymptotic Symmetries and Soft Theorems in Asymptotically Flat Spacetimes
Abstract:- I will review old work by BMS on asymptotic symmetries in
asymptotically flat spacetimes and its recently understood connection with
soft theorems in quantum field theories. I will also review how these
developments have modified our understanding of the information puzzle and
flat holography.
