Finite-time Singularity Formation for Strong Solutions to the 3D Euler Equations
Abstract:
We will discuss some recent results on singularity formation for finite-energy strong solutions to the 3D Euler system based on the analysis of scale-invariant solutions. The work consists of three parts: local well-posedness in critical spaces, the proof of blow-up for scale-invariant solutions, and then a cut-off argument to ensure finite energy. This is joint work with I. Jeong. [video]
