10:45 AM-Noon small groups look at web sites to examine material and develop opinions of what works, what does not, and why. An introduction by Jim, then examine the following sites:

  (b) Explore the six sections and chapter test for Chapter 4.
  (c)Check out the Quizaroo for Chapter 4.

  Choose four topics that you cover or have covered in the classroom. Experiment with the associated applets. Read the text below the applets.

• http://www.utc.edu/~cpmawata/geom/geom.htm
  Work through this eight page lesson on angles and triangles. Experiment with the applets. Don't miss the Proof of the Pythagorean Theorem at the end.

Noon-1:00 PM Small group discussions continue over lunch.

(Note: These small groups will not be the same as the ones formed earlier in the day. Those will be heterogeneous; these will be formed based on the expressed interests of the participants.)
