MATHCAD TUTOR

Part 6: Getting Help

MathCad has extensive help available. If you know the name of the command, you can get help from the index.

For example, if you want help on the solve symbolic operator, click on help on the tool bar. Then pick MathCad Help. You can also get to this menu by pressing the F1 key. In the index window, type

This will give you a list of options. Choose solve keyword. This will bring up a window that explains how to use the solve command.

In addition to the index, the MathCad help has a resource center that contains a more extensive tutorial. The reference center also contains "Quicksheets." These are MathCad files that have been written to do specific tasks. Explore and learn!
