Maple Tutor

Start Maple, and bring up a blank worksheet.

Your blank worksheet should appear with a line that looks like
[ > |
with a flashing vertical bar. If the line looks like
[ > ?
instead, click on Options, then on Input Display, and finally on Maple Notation. You won't see any change on the current line, but you will see a Maple Input line as soon as you press Enter.

You may find the symbol palettes useful. We provide an Appendix describing the use of these palettes.
