  1. Use your NEW approximation scheme to approximate the area of the region between x = 0 and x = pi that is bounded above by the curve y = sin x and below by the x-axis. What do you think the exact area is?
  2. Use your NEW approximation scheme to approximate the area of the region between x = 0 and x = 3 that is bounded above by the curve y = e-(x^2)/2 and below by the x-axis.
