Nonlinear Differential Equations, Mechanics and Bifurcation
A conference in honor of David G. Schaeffer
Monday May 20th to Wednesday May 22nd, 2002

The central theme of the conference is the role of nonlinearity in physical
systems, especially elasticity, granular materials and fluid flow. The conference
will honor the contributions of Professor David G. Schaeffer to the fields
of ordinary and partial differential equations, mechanics and bifurcation,
and to industrial mathematics.
